New Content Schedule Update

Updated: Feb 12, 2023

At the moment I'm out of town with PM (and no kiddos!!) at a professional conference.

We're busy attending meetings, drinking coffee, and hanging out with PM's colleagues at the hotel bar. So needless to say, I won't get new content to you this week.

As I indicated in my last piece, going forward I'll be working on putting new material on the site every other week. I've got several essays in the works, and I plan to put one out next Friday 10/28. I know it may sometimes be disappointing to check my site and find I haven't put out new material. But I really hope folks won't give up on me and will continue to check back for more from my sexy, messy life.

But for now, I wanted to say a quick thanks to those of you who have reached out and encouraged me to keep writing. When I started this project last December, I had a hope that I could create a safe space for honesty about sex and pleasure in the context of marriage and motherhood, especially for women.

I wasn't entirely sure if others would connect with my words, but I figured I would put my thoughts and experiences out there and see what happened. And while I don't think I'll ever go viral (is that still a thing?), I've been happily surprised at the way people have connected with what I've had to say. And this response, your readership, has kept me writing for almost a whole calendar year now. All I can say is Wow! And Thank you!

But, of course, please, pleeeeesssse,

Keep Reading! That's a big deal for me. I really want to connect with readers, to speak what folks are thinking but can't talk about and to perhaps provide a fresh perspective on female pleasure and the experience of a middle-aged married woman. I truly stress about whether folks are actually interested in what I'm writing. Imposter syndrome is real, folks, and I often wonder why I'm doing what I'm doing and why anyone would care. When I see that you are reading my pieces, I think, Maybe someone out there actually enjoys and connects with what I'm creating. And it means a lot. My readers keep me writing!

If you've enjoyed what you've read, "Like" it! And what more? Let me know what you liked: Comment! Tell me what it is that you connected with or found compelling...or even if you just think something is cool or interesting. (If you're nervous about anonymity and that's what keeps you from commenting, you can comment anonymously now, a relatively new function available on the Wix blog sites.) It can be hard to be the first one to comment on a post, but someone has to pop that cherry! I love to hear from you. Engagement reminds us that we're not alone, and commenting so that others can read your words can be powerful, both for yourself in sharing and for others. Try it!

Or if commenting isn't your jam, shoot me a note and let me know what you like and why you're reading this blog instead of something else. There's so much content on the internet, and I'm always dying to know why this blog? Why my words?

And when you share parts of your own journey with me, and how my writing has been meaningful to you, it makes what I'm doing, the hours writing and editing, totally worth it.

And finally, if you want to see me keep up the writing,

Share my site with others! If you think someone you know might enjoy my blog, for the love of goddes, tell them about it! If imitation is the sincerist form of flattery in real life, as they say, sharing my work with others is the sweetest way you can show your love.

So check back in with me late next week for more juicy content.

Until next time, stay kinky 😉
